Service Above Self is the Motto of Rotary.
Rotarians around the world are changing lives, with Polio vaccinations for children, digging wells for clean water, empowering women with economic development and teaching Peace for a better world. I am proud to be a Rotarian working with them through my Foundation. The Mounzer Foundation has donated thousands of dollars to provide matching and global grants to support the lebanese people. Some of the projects were: A library for Geitawi hospital, a bus for an orphanage, medical equipment for ophtalmology department at AUMC (American University Medical Center), and recently medical equipment to a non profit clinic in Fanar, Lebanon.

The Lebanese Government approved the status of the Mounzer Foundation as an NGO in 2005. It was presided by Cheikh Hadi Mounzer from 2004-2006

Now the new President is Dr. Marie Ghantous, PhD 2020-2023
The Lebanese Branch has been very active in publishing and promoting the books of Cheikh Ibrahim Mounzer, organizing conferences, and facilitating workshops for personal growth and peace development. The focus presently is on Peace Education, Human Rights, and Service. A new program was started to raise funds for legal aid for the victims of the blast which happened on Aug 4, 2020 (See legal Aid Lebanon). Another project provided food boxes for the needed families, through Mehaidse Church, and donated oxygen concentrators to the victims of COVID, through the municipality of Bikfaya. a Donation was given to SOS Village of children to use for their education.
